Aerial survey of flood-affected areas made by Rijiju & Tuki

Devesh Dubey, Itanagar,Aug 28: The flood affected are of eastern Arunachal Pradesh was surveyed by CM Nabam Tuki. During his aerial survey he was accompanied by Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju. They assured the people that soon State Government will submit a detailed estimate of the loss so that the Central Government will release the fund.

Lohit, East Siang worst affected CM released funds

Aadil Mir, Itanagar, Aug 26: Chief Minister Nabam Tuki revived the flood situation in a high level meeting at his office chamber, He directed release of an initial lump sum of Rs.10 Crore for emergency repair and restoration works. Out of which Rs. 5 Crore has been allocated to PWD, Rs.3 Crore to WRD and Rs 1 crore each to Power (Electrical) and PHE & WS Depts.

Aadil Mir,ITANAGAR, Aug 25: Flood situation remains bleak in the state as almost all the major rivers are running above the danger mark. Heavy downpour for last couple of days claimed one life and completely damaged three dwelling houses at Sagalee where most of the residential colony was inundated by flood water of Pare tributary during the wee hours today.
Aadil Mir,ITANAGAR, Aug 25: Chief Minister Nabam Tuki revealed that he had requested the Union Home Ministry to set up eight more new ITBP battalions in Arunachal Pradesh he reveled this during a discussion with Inspector General of ITBP R K D Singh and DIGP Ajay Pal Singh, when the duo called on the former in his chamber here to seek his support for land for setting up of an ITBP training centre and briefed him about various activities of the ITBP.

CM Inaugurates New College at Manmao

Devesh Dubey, Itanagar, Aug 02: Concentrating on better education facilities in the state Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki has gifted the state yet another college facility VENERABLE Uktara Bethany College. The newly inaugurated college which is all set to start its first academic session will have 60 students in its first batch. Tuki, on his first district (Lohit) tour after taking over as Chief Minister of the state for the 2nd consecutive term, who reached Namsai today also assessed the progress of several projects in the sub-division.
