Govt becomes softer on mass transfer of teachers, constitutes committee

Mir, Itanagar, Oct 17: Arunachal government has softened its stand on
the mass teachers transfer issue, as it has constituted two committees
headed by the Director Elementary Education and Director School
Education respectively to study the individual representation of the
teachers. The committees will study and consider the individual cases on
the health and other genuine grounds such as teachers nearing
retirement and who have already served at hard belt etc.
Govt for episodic and surprised inspection for MDM

alleged improper implementation of Mid Day Meal scheme being raised by
different organisations and groups, Arunachal Govt has called for
periodic surprise inspection of schools on serving of mid-day meal to
the children by the District Nodal Officer While emphasizing on the
safety concern of children consuming mid-day meal, Education Secretary
Mishra called for compulsory testing of food by teacher in-charge before
serving the meals to children and also emphasised on the submission of
inspection and monitoring report to directorate office for necessary
action.
