Nabam Tuki, a true reformer

The Path- breaking decision of the state government to dissolve powers to the three-tier Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRI) and to grant funds for infrastructure development , along with other incentives  is suppose to improve governance at the grassroots level.

The setting up of the Itanagar and Pasighat municipality councils, besides numerous maiden steps for effective functioning of the panchayat leaders and councillors are testimony of the GoAP’s commitment to apply the Constitution in the greater welfare of the masses.

This is suppose to go a long way in fulfilling former prime minister late Rajiv Gandhi’s dream of truly empowering the masses and making them the masters of their own destinies.

Chief Minister Nabam Tuki  is  the first to make the 73rd and the 74th Constitution Amendment a reality in Arunachal Pradesh .

While the decision of the GoAP led by CM Nabam Tuki, and Panchayati Raj Minister Tanga Byaling, has been regarded as commendable step.
