Tongam Rina wins ‘Indian of the Year’ in public service category

NEW DELHI, Mar 17: Journalist Tongam Rina wins the CNN IBN Indian of the Year 2014 for public service. Rina received the award from Vice President Hamid Ansari in a glittering award giving ceremony on Tuesday evening at New Delhi. She is the Associate Editor of Arunachal Times. Rina was shot at close range in front of her office gate around 6:15 pm on July 15, 2012.
