Arunachal Pradesh Assembly Passed Assembly Budget 2014-15
Devesh Dubey, Itanagar, Jul 29: In a marathon debate held over the 140.02 crore deficit budget 2014-15 Arunachal Pradesh Assembly has finally passed their general budget. Chief Minister Nabam Tuki responded to the quarries during budget discussion and disclosed that he had done proper homework before the preparation of the budget and the budget was prepared after due consultation with the state’s line departments.

Proposal for survey of foothill road
Aadil Mir, Itanagar, Jul 20: In a meeting with Chief Minister Nabam Tuki and representatives from Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and state highway authorities Union minister of State Home Rijiju said that fund will never be a constraint in implementation of road projects in Arunachal Pradesh but some of the issues related to it needs to be addressed properly and timely. to review the status of highways and other road projects in the state in New Delhi on July 18.

Pre-budget review meeting on the run CM meets officers from agri & allied sector
Aadil Mir, Itanagar, July 14: Introduction of National Food Security Mission (NFSM) and Chief Minister’s Agri-mechanization Programme (CMAMP) and enhancement of farm power availability to 0.34 kW/ha led to consistent growth of 7.8 per cent in rice production over 2011-12. This was disclosed by the agriculture department during the pre-budget review and consultation meeting of the agriculture and allied sector chaired by Chief Minister Nabam Tuki in the conference hall of his official bungalow here today.

immediate attention as in a recently released map, China has shown Arunachal
Pradesh as its territory; which has drawn strong criticism from India. On
India’s part, a lot is to be done to secure the border areas. The most
important step being developing infrastructure across borders to aid our border
security forces. Narendra Modi Government proposes an additional allocation of
Rs 5,000 crore in the upcoming Union Budget to resettle people in the areas
along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Arunachal Pradesh. This Rs 5,000
crore allocation is over and above the earlier allocation of Rs 28,000 crore
sanctioned previously by the Center.

'Arunachal Pradesh committed to achieve 100% literacy by 2019'

Pradesh is committed to achieve cent per cent literacy by 2019 as
envisaged under the five-year period of the Fourteenth Finance Commission (FFC)
which will come into effect from April 2015, the state government said.
