Aadil Mir, Itanagar, July 6: The legislative body of East Kameng district led by Kumar Waii Minister RWD, Principal Adviser to Chief Minister Kameng Dolo, Parliamentary Secretaries Karya Bagang, Mama Natung and Tapuk Taku today called on Chief Minister Nabam Tuki to discuss developmental issues of the district.
The unison move of the district legislators came following the power and drinking water crisis hit the denizens of Seppa.
Highlighting higher consumption of power supply required by the people, the legislators appealed to the chief minister to introduce 132 KV power supply from Kupi in West Kameng district. The meeting also focused on law and order problem and ongoing Trans Arunachal Highway project in East Kameng. The representatives also drew the chief minister’s attention towards the plight of government schools which are in shambles.
, Tuki assured to look into the matter and also said that he would cooperate and support the local MLAs in carrying out developmental projects in the district.
