Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki lauded the people of
Mebo constituency in East Siang district for their hard work put into providing
food grains to the region.
A vast plain land along the banks of River
Siang, Mebo is considered as rice bowl of the Siang belt.
Tuki praised the people for being pioneers in
the field of education and politics.
Tuki called upon the people to continue to guide
the state in the path of development.
Tuki informed that the Center has approved
establishment of an Agriculture College at Pasighat and expressed optimism that
his prophesy of Pasighat becoming an educational hub of the state is coming
true.
He also announced Rs 2 crore for construction of
Cement-Concrete Road for Mebo township and sufficient funds for flood control
measures as per the recommendations of the Central Team which had recently
visited the area.
