Arunachal to witness socio- economic development

A complete package comprising adventure, religious, spiritual, health, cultural and eco tourism has been suggested by Chief Minister Nabam Tuki for a holistic growth of the tourism sector of the state here.

Tuki suggested a complete package comprising adventure, religious, spiritual, health, cultural and eco tourism for a holistic growth of the tourism sector which had a tremendous potential to benefit the people of the district.

Appreciating the locals for introducing home stay facility for the tourists and construction of many new hotels, he said these ventures would lead to self-sustaining development and eradication of poverty.

To boost tourism, 100 educated unemployed youths were given taxies on subsidy under Mukhyamantri Paryatan Vikash Yojana. The scheme would continue and more taxies should be given to Tawang considering the communication hazard of the area.
