Aadil Mir,Itanagar,June 7:- On a path to development Chief Minister Nabam Tuki appointed 18 MLAs to the post of Parliamentary Secretaries to assist his council of ministers in speedy implementation of developmental works being undertaken in the State of Arunachal Pradesh.
In a brief function held at the State Banquet Hall, the Chief Minister administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed Parliamentary Secretaries, all ruling party MLAs, after the Chief Secretary read out the letters of appointment.
Significantly, the appointees included all two women legislators, Three of the 18 parliamentary secretaries are new faces. While rest of the appointees had held the posts of either Parliamentary Secretaries or Chairmen of various government departments in the previous Nabam Tuki government.

Nabam Tuki was sworn in as the 8th Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh on May 18 after his party had registered a sweeping victory in the April 9 assembly polls, securing 42 seats including 11 unopposed, to retain power
Two weeks after his swearing-in, Tuki had inducted nine ministers on June 1 last with two cabinet berths yet to be filled.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister wished good luck to all the parliamentary secretaries in shouldering their duties and responsibilities competently in the days to come.
