Schemes Should be implemented properly Kaliko Pul


Aadil Mir, ITANAGAR, June 18:  Kaliko Pul Minister of Women & Child Development, Social Justice & Empowerment and Tribal Affairs,  emphasized on proper monitoring and implementation of various welfare schemes available under the departments particularly for the vulnerable groups of the society such as women & children, old age, disabled people.
The Minister was speaking at a review meeting with the senior officers of the two departments here on Monday. “We must give priority to the development of women, children, handicapped and old age people,” he added.
Stressing on work culture and discipline in the department, Minister cautioned the officers and staffs that stern disciplinary action will be taken in case of any breach of discipline and inordinate delay for execution of the assigned works. He emphatically said that there must be a full proof arrangement for looking after charges at all level as and when any official is absent on tour or leave to avoid any dislocation and lapses. He further said that people coming from far flung areas seeking help in office should not suffer due to absence of any staff.
The issue relating to the construction of girls hostels at Palin circle under Tribal Affairs Ministry was also discussed in the meeting. The Minister expressed serious concern over alleged mismanagement and directed the Director of Social Justice & Tribal Affairs department to physically inspect the sites and submit a detailed report.
