Itanagar, June 22: Parliamentary Secretary (Water
Resource Department) Gum Tayeng
requested the Heads of the Departments (HoDs) to be a partner in the
development process of the state.
Speaking to the
HODs of the district at Circuit House here today after being inducted as
Parliamentary Secretary, Tayeng said that in developmental works all are
allies. She urged the HoDs to give ideas and suggestions for all-round
development of the district. She asked them to apprise her about the
developmental works and schemes being undertaken within her constituency and
asked them not to hesitant to tell about their problems, if any.
While exhorting
the officers to be sincere and regular in discharging their duties, she urged
the officers especially those posted under Dambuk Sub-Division to remain at
their place of posting.
She expressed her
gratefulness to the Chief Minister, Nabam Tuki
and Rajya Sabha MP cum APCC(I) President Mukut
Mithi for giving her an opportunity to serve the people of the state as
a parliamentary secretary.
Reiterating that
the govt. officers should stay in their place of posting and to be punctual in
duty, he urged the officers to serve the people of remote and inaccessible areas.
