Zero tolerance towards crime and other related activities: HM

Aadil Mir, ITANAGAR, June 9:  Zero lenience to crime would be our policy in order to maintain law and order in state of Arunachal Pradesh.
In response to a question about his priorities as Chief Minister, Nabam Tuki has fulfilled the demand to appoint an independent Home Minister, he said, "We will soon make a policy in consultation with Itanagar MLA, DGP, home commissioner, councilors and civil societies, particularly committees of the traders, colonies and NGOs, to stop the crime."

"We are planning to install CCTV cameras at all vulnerable points in the Capital Complex and in each gate to be set up in all colonies for which we shall seek the help of corporate bodies, project implementers, big business houses and civilians as well," Tanga Byaling Said.

On inter-state boundary row, he said that the solution would depend on the report of the Supreme Court-constituted Local Boundary Commission, but till then “We would honor the status quo agreements signed between the Assam and Arunachal governments.”
