14th Finance Commission Assured special Package to Arunachal Pradesh

the chairman of 14th financial commission Dr Y V
Readdy has assured a special package to government of Arunachal Pradesh
for its fiscal challenges, he also assured that all the issues raised by the
State government would get “due attention”
in the deliberation of the Commission, which will finalize its recommendations
by October next after completing its discussions with all the state
governments, GoI and relevant stakeholders.

NCC planning academy in Arunachal Pradesh

5,000cr Will Be Invested To Set Up 8K Towers In North East. Telecom Commission Cleared The Proposal.

Mir, June 17: Minister of Communications and
Information technology Ravi Shankar Prasad said improving
telecom connectivity in the north east is one of the top priorities of
the government. The government will invest Rs 5,000 crore to set up over 8,000 mobile towers in the region. He said the Telecom Commission had cleared the proposal a few
days ago.

EDUCATION SYSTEM IN ARUNACHAL PRADESH
Arunachal Pradesh has made
significant progress in the field of Education.
Literacy rate in the State has increased from 25%
(1981 Census) to approximately 66% as per 2011 Census. However, unlike
other States almost all educational institutions in the State are Government
Institutions. The inadequacy of these physical facilities is a hindrance to
proper functioning and qualitative improvement of education in the State. Thus,
for ensuring access to universal elementary education, the State needs special
support from the Central Government.

SIGNIFICANT DROP IN CRIME AGAINST WOMEN IN ARUNACHAL

rise in day to day crimes against women. Papum Pare District of Arunachal
Pradesh has a different story to tell, as in this district crimes against women
have dropped significantly in Papum Pare and Capital districts since the
setting up of the first all-women police station here on June 1 last year.

ITANAGAR: In a significant development, The newly formed Govt; has constituted a high level Committee with Secretary (Political) as Chairman, Secretary, (IPR), IGP (Law and Order), Deputy Commissioners of both Capital Complex and Papum Pare and Railway authorities as members to look into the affairs of Railway and suggest measures to be taken, according to an official release.
